These stationary windows do not open, enhancing energy efficiency and allowing for larger sizes compared to vented windows. Often used in combinations, they maximize your view and create a striking visual impact.
Sliding Windows (2-lite & 3-lite)
Sliding windows, available in both 2-lite and 3-lite configurations, open horizontally to welcome in natural light and fresh air. These windows are perfect for enjoying scenic views while maintaining excellent airflow. Their horizontal design is especially beneficial in spaces where it’s challenging to operate double-hung windows, such as behind a kitchen sink.
2-lite sliders feature two sashes that move side to side, and 3-lite, which has three sashes with two that slide and one that remains fixed. In a 3-lite slider, the window consists of three sections: a central picture window flanked by two sliding panels. Typically, the picture window makes up half the width of the entire unit, with each sliding panel taking up a quarter.
